UGH. UGH. UGH. 🤦♀️
When you realize that your domain has expired, because you’re not paying close enough attention to realize it’s renewal time. Fortunately, I don’t have any paid promotions out this week, LOL, so it’s not money thrown away.
No matter how experienced you are, or how long you’ve been in business, you will make errors. What I typically do is to keep a calendar of when each domain expires (that I’m using). This year I have not yet set that up, resulting in this domain (YES, THIS ONE – virtualbizconnection.com) going down for about 24 hours.
Fortunately, in today’s world, propagation happens quite quickly, so it is already back up in some regions and should be fully back up by later today.
Just remember… it’s the LITTLE THINGS like this that throw a monkeywrench into things and they can take time to resolve. Make lists if you have to. Set a little reminder to check your domains once a month to avoid little setbacks like this one.
